I am caught up in a storm that is The Fault in Our Stars.

A storm is a beautiful disaster. It can be destructive, but it can very well reinvigorate the world. It can be frightening as well as enlightening.

That, is exactly what John Green and his fictitious tale have done to me.

It made my heart drop below the floor. It made me feel like flying. It made me want to dream bigger. To use bigger words. It made me stop. Think. Listen. Re-read. It made me fall, then helped me back onto my feet. It made me well up. Then it made me let it go. It made me learn, unlearn, and re-learn. It made me scream on the inside. It made me silent on the outside.

It was - and is - a perfect mess of feelings, perceptions, thoughts, misfortune, and victory.

Thank you, John Green. And for you? Hypothetical high-five… Nice.

Four books in four weeks.

Damn.

It seems I have ventured to and walked out of four different worlds. Each has taken me on a journey I was neither expecting or afraid of. Each has made me feel.. Something, with a capital-S.

When you feel all is going under, give up everything - surrender.

one of my all time favorite lines i’ve ever written down.

I look for my answer as I look into the skies, for this belief is beyond these two human eyes.

Me, 2010

It kisses one’s soul and to one’s heart it is bound.

Me, 2011

Set the world on fire, so that everyone can see the love you have for all of us and the love you kept for me.

A Prayer, Me, 2011

These - here inside - are the words I never said, the feelings that I hide, and the lines you’ve never read.

Me, 2010

Under the Moon.

Let the buzz take over.

Let the haze override.

Just for a moment.

Just for the night.

Standing in a sea, surrounded by a storm.

Happy Valentine’s Day.

Happy Valentine’s Day.

Quite a lollapalooza you are.

This is the irrefrangible vow.

She only hent the heart out of desperation.

Wellaway.. there is no cure better for a broken heart than true love.
